who doesn't love a treat? treat by mary sullivan

April 19, 2016 ashley donati

This comic-strip style picture book needs only one word to tell its story - TREAT!  This pudgy little pup really, really, really wants a treat.  He goes around his house, from family member to family member, asking, begging, beseeching them for the smallest nibble of biscuit.  His need for a treat gets more and more crazy as the book goes on which makes the story funnier and funnier.  This one was a real, well, treat to read.  (Sorry had to go there.) recommended age: 3+
